Career
She is best known as the author of the autobiographical comic zine Invincible Summer, whose individual issues have been collected into two anthologies published by Tugboat Press and Microcosm Publishing, and the graphic memoir Laura. Her graphic memoir, She chronicled her time working at Farm Sanctuary in her zine Invincible Summer, and taught Homorobics, a punk exercise class, from 2008-2009. Georges has been teaching children, adults and seniors about zines, comics and self publishing for over a decade, and is currently on the roster of Writers In The Schools, The Right Brain Initiative, and Young Audiences of Oregon.
She has been volunteering with the Portland Rock and Roll Camp for Girls since its inception in 2001.
The French translation of " Georges is an open lesbian and made a video of herself discussing her sexuality with her mother, with plans to publish it on YouTube.
