Fought in World War 1. 1917 chairman, regt comt. 1918-1919 commanded partisan detachment in Podol’sk Province.
1920 military commander, 57th Infantry Division on Polish Front. 1922 deputy commander, partisan detachments in the Far East, then member, Military Council of Maritime Partisan Detachments. After liberation of the Far East head
Maritime Workers and Peasants’ Police. 1932-1941 worked for Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics People's Commissariat of Forests, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics People's Commissariat of State Procurement and Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics People's Commissariat of the Navy. June 1941 sent by Central Committee, All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks) to Smolensk Oblast to organize partisans behind enemy lines.
Commanded Batya group of partisan detachments. During World War 2 arrested by Soviet counter-intelligence. Until 1954 in imprisonment, then released and rehabilitated.
