Career
Born in Mostar, in Social Research Bosnia and Herzegovina, in SFR Yugoslavia, he started playing at home town side FK Velež Mostar where his good exhibitions called the attention of FK who brought him in 1991. He stayed in Belgrade until 1997 when he moved to Dutch Eredivisie side Roda JC. After one season there he returned to and played until summer 2000 when he signed with Turkish top flight side Antalyaspor. The following winter he moved further to Fluminense playing in the 2001 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. In summer 2001 he returned to Serbia to play with OFK Belgrade which he had represented on loan in the 1993-1994 season, while on his first spell with.
With the exception of the 2002-2003 season when he had a spell with Football Club Saturn Ramenskoye in the Russian Premier League, he played for OFK Beograd until the end of his playing career in 2005.
