Career
During his playing career, Rakojević represented Sutjeska Nikšić for almost two decades, making over 250 appearances in the Yugoslav First and Second League combined. During his coaching career, Rakojević managed numerous clubs, mainly in Montenegro and Serbia, but also in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After starting at Sutjeska Nikšić, Rakojević was the head coach of Rudar Pljevlja, Hajduk Kula, Vrbas, Zeta (2001–2003), Borac Banja Luka (2003-2004), Čukarički (2004-2005), Budućnost Banatski Dvor (2005-2006), Banat Zrenjanin (2006-2007), Lovćen (2007-2008), Sutjeska Nikšić (2008–2010), Budućnost Podgorica (June–December 2010), Sutjeska Nikšić (January–April 2011), Rudar Pljevlja (2012-2013) and Mladost Podgorica (June–October 2013).
Rakojević also led the national under-21 team of First Revision Yugoslavia during the 2002 Union of European Football Associations European Under-21 Championship qualification.
