Under A. Kiselev in Moscow, then in Paris, 1886. Landscape and portrait painter, also sculptor. Exhibitions: TPKHV (1888-1897,1899-1900), MOLKH (1889-1891, 1893-1900), MTKH (1895, 1899-1901, 1912), All-Russian Exhibition, Nizhnii Novgorod, (1896), the Society of Russian WaterColour Painters, St. Petersburg, (1896), the Mir Iskusstva (1900-1903), the Union of Russian Artists (1903-1918, 1922-1923), the 8th State Exhibition, Moscow, 1919, AKHRR the 8th Exhibition, Moscow, 1926, and the Society of Realist Artists, Moscow, 1928.
