Worker in Petersburg factories. Involved in revolutionary work. In the summer of 1917, hid Lenin and Zinoviev in his hut at Razliv near Petersburg, when they were threatened with arrest by the Provisional Government as organizers of an uprising and as suspected German spies.
Arrested with all his family in 1935, and spent almost 20 years in the Gulag camps. Released after Stalin’s death (1953 or 1954).
