Nikolai Alexandrovich graduated from the Mathematics Department of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of the Voronezh State University (1924).
Nikolai Alexandrovich was a lecturer in physics at a road technical school (since 1924). He was an associate professor, head of the Department of Physics in Voronezh Civil Engineering Institute (since 1932), researcher at the All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Medicine (1934), one of the closest assistant of academician Ivan Petrovich Pavlov. In the early 1920s, he headed the astronomical club "Asteroid" in Voronezh.
Voronezh played the violin and piano, composed music (sonatas, preludes, etudes), and draw well.
