Nikolai Vladimirovich Koretsky studied at the Voronezh district and intermediate schools. As a teenager, he went to Moscow, where he studied at a theatrical school.

Career

Nikolai Vladimirovich Koretsky was an actor of a provincial troupe. He workes as a head of the theater department of the Petersburg newspaper "News" (since 1898). He worked as a clerk of the Council of the Russian Theater Society (1901).

After 1917, he worked as a director in various clubs, as a secretarial support in editorial offices, publishing houses, printing houses of Moscow, Kharkov, Crimea, Leningrad.

Nikolai Vladimirovich was engaged in publishing activities (from 1900), published predominantly repertory collections for recitation and reading.

An editor and publisher of the two-week illustrated magazine "Awakening" (1906-1917), children's magazine "The Lark" (1913-1916) and others. An author of the collection of poems "Songs of the Night" (St. Petersburg, 1908, 1911, 1912), a number of plays.
