Career
He first became a professional musician in Denmark, later joining the band Krajn, which became Cirkus and moved to the United Kingdom in 1996, with the other members, Kristoffer Sonne, Anders Christiensen, Rune Funch and Jakob Illeborg. The band changed their name again to Warwick Avenue and were signed to Columbia Records in the United States, releasing an album, Let it out. In 2009 Nikolaj Torp Larsen also joined The Specials as the replacement for Jerry Dammers and still tours with the group worldwide.
In 2013 Nikolaj opened Squat Sound, a recording studio in West London, with Dyre Gormsen and Kristoffer Sonne, the three together known as "The Suppliers".
First album out on "Squat Sound Records" in 2014 will be Rob Bravery"s album "Esque".
