Nikolas Dmitrievich graduated from Penza Art School in 1951. He was taught by A.A. Shurchilov.
Starting from 1955 Nikolas Dmitrievich was a participant of various Russian exhibitions. From 1951 to 1955 he was an art teacher at Liski High School. From 1955 to 1965 Nikolas Dmitrievich was a staff member of the RSFSR Art Fund in Archangelsk. In 1966-1968 he lived in Voronezh and starting from 1968 he moved to Belgorod.
The author of genre paintings, portraits, landscapes, still lifes executed in the technique of oil painting. His pieces are represented in the Arkhangelsk Art Museum, the M. V. Lomonosov Museum in Kholmogory, and the Belgorod Art Museum.
