AKULOV, Nikolay was born in 1900.
1926 graduated Moscow University.
Specialist in physics of metals, particularly ferromagnetism. 1928 formulated law of anisotropy. 1947 developed a system of differential equations in partial derivatives for calculating chain diffusion in physics, chemistry and biology.
1953 developed a theory of physical properties of ferromagnetics under dynamic conditions. 1956 developed a theory of the atomic magnetic moments of alloys above and below Curie point. Developed magnetic defectoscopes, automatic magnetic micrometers and an anisometer for recording structural changes in metal.
1931-1954 Professor, Moscow University. 1955-1957 Professor, Moscow Institute of Chemical Machine-Building.
