1903 graduate Medical Faculty, Tomsk University.
From 1903 intern, Chair of Hospital Surgical Clinic, Tomsk University. 1909 defended doctor’s thesis on grafting ureter to intestine. Studied advanced medical techniques in Moscow, Saint St. Petersburg and abroad.
From 1912 professor, Chair of Surgical Pathology and Therapy, Tomsk University. During World War 1 directed Red Cross hospitals in Riga and Kiev. 1918-1926 head, Chair of Hospital Surgical Clinic, Tomsk University.
Studied intravenous narcosis, organ and tissue grafts, physiology of gastrointestinal tract after surgery, surgical treatment of some forms of epilepsy, et cetera Deputy chairman, 16th Russian Surgeons’ Congress. 1918, together with Professor A.P. Malyshev, founded East Siberian Prosthesis Institute in Tomsk.
1920 organized first physicians’ courses on orthopedics and prostheses.
