1899 graduate Kazan’ Veterinary Institute.
While still a student joined revol movement. After graduate worked as a zemstovo veterinary surgeon. 1908 sent to Germany and France by Kursk Zemtsvo authorities to study organisation of local veterinary sendees and teaching methods at higher veterinary schools.
1909-1912 in charge of clinics. Animal Protection Social, Kiev. 1912-1914 head, Veterinary Department Kostroma Province former local government authority Board.
1914-1916 on active military sendee. 1918 head Epizootic Section, Centr Veterinary Department, People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs. 1919-1924 worked for Kostroma Province Veterinary Department.
1921-1923 lectured on the anatomy of domestic animals and historical materialism at Kostroma Agric Institute. From 1925 rector, then head Chair of Regional Pathology and Therapy, Khar’kov Veterinary Institute, where he established a clinic for treatment of small animals with X-ray and physiotherapeutic equipment.
Was first Institute member to experiment in transplanting organs of animals. Wrote over 40 works on veterinary subjects, including: natural cycle of Siberian plague. Zootech, ophthalmology, obstetrics and infectious diseases.
Also compiled a general veterinary manual and a dictionary of veterinary terms, which were not published.
