1933 chairman, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Composers’ Union. Executive ed of its organ Sovetskaya muzyka: ed, "State Law” and ’’Music” sections of Biosystems Engineering (Large Soviet Encyclopedia). Wrote numerous articles on state law and Soviet construction in journals Revolyutsiya prava, Sovetskoye gosudarstvo i revolyutsionnoye pravo and Vlast’ Sovetov, and ’’Large Soviet Encyclopedia,” "Small Soviet Encyclopedia”, et cetera
