1931-1932 associate, 1932-1934 Head, Laboratory of Phytopathology, 1934-1936 Deputy Director, 1936-1938 Director, Institute of Biology, Belarusian Academy of Sciences. 1931-1932 simultaneously lecturer, Horticulture and Market Garden Institute. 1934-1941 Professor, Belarusian University.
1931-1936 headed expeditions to Belarusian and the western regions to study potato crops with a view to quarantine restrictions. Main works deal with potato diseases and methods of obtaining high potato yields. 1944-1948 studied potato cancer and developed countermeasures.
