Career

Directed research on neurology on USSR scale. First to determine connection between liver diseases and pathology of nervous system. Described torulous meningitis, caused by yeast fungus Torula histolytica.

Described clinical aspects, pathogitis, caused by yeast fungus “Torula histolytica”. Described clinical aspects, pathomorphology and pathogenesis of hepatolenticular degeneration, called in USSR Westfal-Wilson-Konovalov’s Disease. 195053 Presidium member, USSR Academy of Medical Science.
