Graduated Leningrad Technology Institute.
Until 1945 engineer, Leningrad Metal Plant. Since 1945 instructor, Lenigrad Polytechn. Institute, specialist in hydroturbine design.
1937-1939 directed work on rotary blade hydroturbines for Uglich and Rybinsk Hydropower Plants. After World War II directed work on hydroturbines for Mingechaur, Tsimlyansky and Kuybyshev Hydropower Plants. 1960 member, Committee Lenin Prizes for Science and Technology, USSR Council of Ministers.
