KRYMOV, Nikolay was born on May 2, 1884.

Education

1904-1911 studied at Moscow College of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.

Career

Member Colubaya roza (Blue Rose) art group. Member, Russian Painters’ Union. Taught at various art schools.

His works are marked by a plethora of detail, precision of execution and tonal harmony. They are on exhibition at the Tret'yakov Gallery and many other Soviet art galleries. From 1910 also worked as stage artist.

Correspondent member, Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Arts from 1949.
