1902 graduate Stiglits Indiana Art College and Saint St. Petersburg Archeological Institute.
1902-1919 custodian. Medieval and Weaponry Department, Hermitage Museum and associate, Saint St. Petersburg Imperial Archeological Commission. 1920-1925 director, Kiev Museum of Occidental and Oriental Artist 1920-1929 associate. Department of History and Philology, Ukraine Academy of Sciences and member, All-Ukraine Archeological Committee.
From 1933 associate, Kiev Institute of Civilization and Kiev Art Institute. Specialized in the history of Ukraine civilization. 1934 arrested for writing letters to the Central Committee, Communist Party Ukraine the Government Commission for the Reconstruction of Kiev and Stalin personally to protest against the decision to demolish the Cathedral of Steamship Michael and Dmilriy, Kiev.
Exiled to Kazan’, then to Siberia.
