Intiated movement to increase daily work norm per miner. 1943-1953 sergeant 1st class on extended service in Red Army. Since 1953 miner in Donbas.
1956 suggested overfulfilment of shift norms by extension of faces, efficient positioning of workers, reducing the number of teams, and encouraging competition among mine workers in contiguous trades. 1957 his team guaranteed to extract 1 ton of coal per man above norm each day. 1958 and 1959 respectively this figure was increased to 1.5 and 2.5 tons.
