Soon he arrived on distribution in Kostroma. However, in the "Agriculture" he worked only for a year, after which he was elected as the Komsomol Committee Secretary of the Krasnoselsky district. After three years he was directed to construct Olympic facilities in Moscow, where he served as the all-Union "Olympic Cycling track in Krylatskoye" Komsomol shock construction staff chief. After the finish of Olympics - 80 and , accordingly, his work, he returned to Kostroma and started working in the editorial office of the youth newspaper (probably, affected by his first interest) – at first as an Executive Secretary, then as an editor. Later he became the Deputy editor of the regional newspaper "North truth", columnist of the newspaper "Kostroma Gazette". At the same time (1989) he graduated from the Moscow higher party school journalist Department. The author of several collections of poetry. Poems were published in newspapers and magazines, the almanac "Day of Volga poetry", the poetry collections "Breath of the Volga", "the Northern latitudes", "the View", editing at different times in Saratov, Yaroslavl, Moscow. In 1996, Kostroma, was published a collection of poems called "Earth road".
