Specialized in reactions involving oxidation of unsaturated compounds. Devised general method of obtain olefin alpha-oxides by direct oxidation of the double bond of benzoil hydroperoxide (Prilezhayev reaction). This method ist also used for the qualitative and quantitative determination of an isolated double band in unsaturated hydrocarbons and in terpencs.
