Career
1900-1902 at Donets Basin mines. From 1902 at Ural mines. 1918-1920 and 1925-1947 professor, Leningrad Mining Institute.
In the Ural mines used square-frame timbering for shoring and devised an original method of ore storage. Instituted valuable courses on working and assaying ore deposits.
Religion
There is no solid or tangible evidence for God nor a logical argument for God. The existence of God is taken on faith and not by evidence.
Views
Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
