1928 graduated Moscow Higher Technology School.

Career

1928-1930 at laboratory of Commission to Study Natural Resources, USSR Academy of Science. 1930-1938 at Leningrad Institute of High Pressures. 1938-1943 instructor, Kazakhstan University, Alma-Ata.

1943-1947 Director, Research Institute of Organic Semiproducts and Dyes. 1945-1958 Head of a Chair, Mendeleev Chemical Technology Institute, Moscow. Works deal with technology of organic dyes and intermediate products and structure and synthesis of natural substances.

Religion

Religious books are outdated, because laws by nature have to change with the advance of societies and technology.

Politics

Member, Communist Party, since 1942.

Views

Marxism–Leninism as the only truth could not, by its very nature, become outdated.
