Nikolay Andreevich Simakin was born on August 25, 1930 in Talovsky District, Voronezh oblast, Russian Federation.

Education

Nikolay Andreevich studied at the decoration department of the Penza Art School (1946-1949).

Career

Member of regional, zonal, republican, all-Union exhibitions since 1959. Nikolay Andreevich works in the field of political and everyday posters, in the genres of landscape, still life, nude.

Author of the series "Old and New Voronezh" (1969-1977), "Memories of Childhood" (1970-1976), "Sunset" (1975-1977), triptych "Girl Playing Ball" (1977). A personal exhibition of works by Simakin was held in the Voronezh Regional Museum of Fine Arts in 1977.
