Nikolay Samuilovich Topoev was born on August 7, 1946, in Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation.
Nikolay Samuilovich graduated from the Moscow Institute of Architecture (now Moscow Architectural Institute (State Academy) - MArchI) (1971).
Nikolay Samuilovich worked at the Voronezh State Construction and Design Institute (1971-1981), chief project architect of the Voronezhgrazhdanproekt institute (1981-1984, 1987-1989), deputy chief architect of the city of Voronezh (1984-1987), at "Voronezharchproekt" (1989-1990 ).
Since 1990, Nikolay Samuilovich had a personal creative workshop, in parallel collaborated with the Apex company, being the head of its architectural department (since 1994).
At the same time, he was an associate professor of the Department of Architectural Design and Urban Planning of the Voronezh State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (since 1993).
Diploma-recipient of the All-Union Competitions “Residential Houses in the Rural Area” (1978) and the “Palace of Culture with a Hall for 600 Seats” (1980), laureate of the State Prize of the RSFSR (building of the Voronezh Regional Puppet Theater; together with V.G. Frolov).
