Since 1986, Nikolay Vasilyevich lived in the Voronezh region, worked as a glassblower at the Rossoshansky Chemical Plant (since 1992 OJSC "Mineral Fertilizers"). Artistic glassware was made using the rare technique of blasting from pyrix and molybdenum tubes coated with a solution of ferric chloride. Since 1987, Sazonkin’s works have been exhibited at all regional exhibitions of folk art, including in the Voronezh Regional Art Museum named after I.N. Kramskoy.
Member of international art exhibitions (Leningrad (Saint Petesburg), 1991; Voronezh, 1998; Moscow, 1999). Nikolay Vasilyevich was awarded a diploma of the All-Russian Exhibition Center for his active participation in events dedicated to the 850th anniversary of the city of Moscow (1997).
