Emigrated with her parents to China. Grew up in
Shanghai and Paris. Received training with O. Preobrazhenskaia and Bronislava Nijinskaia in Paris.
Worked with R. von Laban. Made her debut in 1929 with the Ida Rubenstein Company. In 1933, with Rene Blum’s Ballets Russes de Monte Carlo, and afterwards with Colonel de Basil’s Ballets Russes.
In 1937-1938, with the San Francisco Ballet. From 1939-1941, with de Basil’s Original Ballet Russe. In 1950, moved to Latin America.
Taught in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. Organized her own ballet school in Copacabana.
