Career
After leaving Taku-shoku College without graduating went to China (1909) and became one of the so-called Shina Ronin or Japanese Expatriates in China engaged in unofficial activities to bring China under control of Japan. On returning (1921) started movement to reform the nation with the emperor as a pivot. With aid of Mitsuaki Tanaka and Mitsuru Toyama founded Tokyo Gokoku Seisha (Sacred Society for Defence of the Country) (1925), later established Gokoku-do School at Oarai, Ibaraki Prefecture, where he instructed rightist youths.
Plannned assassination of twenty leading members of political parties and Zaibatsu (plutocratic corporate group) and engineered the actual killing by his pupils of Junnosuke Inoue and Takuma Dan (1932) for which Nissh Inoue was sentenced to life imprisonment. After being released (1940) on general amnesty lived m the house of Fumimaro Konoe. Remained in obscurity for some time after the war and then organized Gokokudan with Tomeo Sagoya (1954).
