Greenberg, Noah was born on April 9, 1919 in New York City. Son of Harry and Lillie (Sorgenstein) Greenberg.

Education

Student in public schools, New York City. Studied composition with Arnold Zemachson, Harold Brown, 1934-1939.

Career

Founder, musical director New York Pro Musica, since 1952. Conductor concerts medieval and Renaissance music on tours, United States and Europe. Recordings Columbia, Decca Records.

Lecturer, guest conductor choral workshops, various colls. universities. Choral director Mannes College Music, 1955-1963.
