In 1936 Nobu Nonomura became president of Nissan Motorcar Company. Later he served as president of Shimane Prefectural Motorcar Rationing Company - and president or director of several other transportation companies and associations. In 1946 Nobu was appointed president of Yamato Nokigu Kogyo Kaisha (Yamato Agricultural Instrument & Tool Manufacturing Industry Company) and thereafter he became president of Shimane Toyota Motorcar Company and Sanin Hino Diesel Motorcar Company since 1943. Also he served as chairman of Matsue Chamber of Commerce & Industry and chairman of Shimane Prefectural League of Chambers of Commerce & Industry from 1950.
