Nobujiro Yamauchi entered Bank of Japan and became assistant to supervisor in London, researcher of Business Bureau and Nagoya Branch, manager of Hakodate, Kumamoto and Moji branches and director of Cashier's Bureau and Archives & Documents Bureau. Resigned Bank of Japan and became president of San-in Godo (United) Bank (since 1941). He became councilor of Zenkoku Chiho Ginko Kyokai (National Local Bankers' Association) (1953).
