Nobutaka Shimojo was a Japanese tea ceremony master of the Sekishu school.
Nobutaka Shimojo was born in 1625. He was the eldest son of Sadamasa Katagiri, daimyo of Koizumi in Yamato Province (Nara Prefecture). Because he was born out of wedlock, he did not succeed his father as daimyo.
In 1674, he inherited 1,000 koku from his father's estate and served the Tokugawa Shogunate in the capacity of the Shogun's librarian.
