Achievements include first experimental demonstration of the quantum mechanical nature of Marcus' inverted effect; development of noval methodologies; pioneering research in understanding of long-range biological electron transfer reactions; research into effect of phylogenetically conserved residue-82 of Cc in long-range electron tunneling within protein complexes.
