Career

Moved to California, October, 1858, to Idaho, April, 1864. Held various company offices. At first Idaho State election, October, 1890, elected Lieutenant-governor.

Succeeded Governor Shoup (elected United States senator) filling out his term as governor from December 19, 1890, to January 1, 1893.
