TROTSKIY, Noy was born in 1895.
1920 graduate Architectural Faculty, All-Russian Academy of Arts. Later graduate Petrograd’s 2nd Polytech Institute.
After graduate Institute, worked for Monument Protection Department. Lived and worked mainly in Leningrad. Participated in competitions for designing Leningrad Crematorium, apartment houses on Stachek Street, workers’ settlements forGroznyy Oil Combine in Groznyy, Palace of Labor in Moscow (1923).
Designed a number of industry enterprises, designed House of Soviets in Leningrad’s Kirov Rayon. Company-designed House of Culture on Vasil’iy Island in Leningrad (1932). Company-designed Kirov Monument on Kirov Square in Leningrad.
Submitted competition designs for the Murmansk House of Culture. House of Shock-Workers (1934). Theater building in Minsk ( 1934).
General store in Leningrad ( 1934). Kuybyshev House of Culture. Also participated in the closed competition for the Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics Academy of Sciences building in Moscow (1934).
Together with M. V. Tomskiy, designed Lenin Lighthouse Monument for Leningrad Merchant Portuguese and the Kirov Monument for the Leningrad Meal Combine. Also directed construction of apartment houses and schools. His most outstanding work is the House of Soviets in Leningrad.
Also taught architecture.
