His previous clubs were Chunnam Dragons in the South Korean K-League and Grazer Alaska in Austrian Bundesliga. In the 2009 AFC Champions League Final, He scored the decisive free kick goal against First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Ittihad. The game ended 2-1 for and he was voted Most Valuable Player of the match.
He scored his first international goal against Hong Kong on February 7, 2010.
