Career
Кo Chiba joined the Foreign Ministry. Assigned to London and served as aide to the Japanese Plenipotentiary at the Naval Disarmament Conference in London (1935). He served as Japanese representative on joint committee for Japanese-American Security Pact; as Japanese representative at Procurement Adjustment Committee; as Japanese representative at Joint Conference for Agreement Concerning Status of United Nations Forces' personnel in Japan; as Japanese representative at International Committee for Fisheries in North Pacific.
