Priest, 1866; his first charge was among the Abenakis Indians of St, Francis, wherd he built a substantial church and parsonage. After spending a year in England in deputation work for the C. and Ceylon Civil Service, he became assistant minister at Trinity Church, Montreal, where lie remained till 1875. For years he has been one of the professors of St. John’s College, an examiner in the University o Manitoba, as well as member of the Diocesan Provincial and General Synods. Rector of Holy Trinity, Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada), since 1875, and Archdeacon of Winnipeg.
Spouse 1874, Margaretta Elizabeth, daughter of Edward Stayner Freer of Montreal.
