Career
Ogawa Hanji was private secretary to Minister of Welfare, chairman of Standing Committee for Culture of House of Representatives and director of Central Standing Committee of Progressive Party (from 1953). He made inspection tours of Europe and America (1950). Director of Kyoto Seiko (Precision Machinery Industry) Company Ltd. and Heian Seisakujo (Plant), Ltd.' Also serves as director of Japan Students' Sumo League and counselor of the Big Six Universities' Baseball League.
Politics
Ogawa Hanji elected three times to Kyoto Municipal Assembly, once to Kyoto Prefectural Assembly and three times to House of Representatives (from 1946).
