Ohara Eiichi served with Kobe, Sapporo and Moji Railway bureaus and Railway Ministry and then entered Nankai Railway Company (1934) and after serving various executive posts became president of Nankai Electric Railway Company (1947). Appointed director of Nihon Aeronautical Company (1953) and chairman of Pacific Baseball League. Serves also as auditor of Shin Nippon (New Japan) Broadcasting Company, director of Taiheiyo (Pacific) Baseball League and vice-president of Private Railway Owners' Association.
