Career
After finishing at the Osaka Prefectural Horticultural High School (1927) was nominated 3rd head of the Ohara school of flower arrangement and elected chairman of Kokufiikai (National Society of Fine Arts) (1938).
It is mainly due to his efforts that the Moribana style of flower arrangement, a style founded by his grandfather, Unshin, became popular shortly after the end of World War II.
