Emperor Anko wanted to make Hatasahime, Prince Okusaka's younger sister, the consort of Prince Ohatsuse (who become emperor Yuryaku), and sent Neno-Omi to Okusaka to seek his sanction of the marriage. Neno-Omi, however, was so charmed with Hatasahime's beauty that he wanted her himself and reported to the Emperor that Okusaka did not give his sanction. Emperor Anko indignant at the report, killed Prince Okusaka and made his sister the consort of Prince Ohatsuse. Prince Mayuwa, the son of Prince Okusaka killed Emperor Anko in revenge.
