Oka Saburo

Background

Oka Saburo was born in 1914.

Education

He graduated from Yamanashi Normal School. Taught at elementary schools in Yamanashi Prefecture.

Career

After the war he served as vice-chairman of National Federation of Teachers' Unions. He was the first chairman of Zen Kancho Rodo-kumiai Kyogikai (National Council of Government and Public Workers' Unions) and chairman of Executive Committee of Japan. Holds additional post of director of Times Publishing Company.
