In 1996-1997 Oksana Bilozir was teaching at Kiev State Institute of Culture. Oksana Bilozir became the People"s Deputy of Ukraine for three times, twice from the bloc Our Ukraine (in 2002-2005 and in 2006), and from the block Our Ukraine - People"s Self-Defense during early parliamentary elections in 2007.
Bilozir voted for the dismissal of the second Tymoshenko Government in February 2009. Bilozir took part in the 2012 Ukrainian parliamentary election as an independent candidate in single-member districts number 66 (first-past-the-post wins a parliament seat) located in the town Malyn.
With a third place (with 1213% of the votes) in the district she was not (re-)elected in parliament.
In 2004-2005 she led the Social Christian Party (in October 2008 that party merged with United Centre), later became a member of the party Our Ukraine, with the President Viktor Yushchenko acting as the Honorary Chairman. In the 2014 Ukrainian parliamentary election Bilozir was a candidate of Petro Poroshenko Bloc. Placed 80th on the electoral list.
In February 2008 Bilozir and several prominent members left Our Ukraine. She became a member of United Centre. In September 2010 she became a member of Christian Democratic Union.
