Oleg Yakovlevich Baev was born on the 28th of June, 1941 in Voronezh.

Education

In 1964 Oleg Yakovlevich graduated from the Faculty of Law of Voronezh State University.

Career

In 1957-1962 Oleg Yakovlevich worked as a mechanic at some the building organizations of Voronezh. In 1962-1973 Oleg was an investigator of the prosecutor's office in Kaluga Region. Since 1973 he worked as a junior research assistant, lecturer, associate professor and full professor of the Department of Forensics of Voronezh State University where in 1986 Oleg Yakovlevich became the head of the same department. At the same time since 1992 he was the head of the law firm Baev and Partners.

Oleg Baev is the author of more than 200 publications including such books as "Criminalistic Tactics and the Criminal Procedure Law" (Voronezh, 1977), "Conflict Situations in Preliminary Investigation" (Basis of Prevention and Resolution) (Voronezh, 1984), "Basics of Criminalistics" (Moscow , 2001), "The tactics of Criminal Prosecution and Professional Defense against Him" (Moscow, 2003; 2005) and others.
