On 1 September 2014, Šarkić joined Portuguese champions Benfica, being assigned to the youth team
Achievements
On 11 January 2015, Šarkić made his debut for Benfica Bachelor in a 3–2 win against Porto Bachelor in Segunda Liga. On 14 February, he scored twice in a home win against Oliveirense (4–1).
