Olly Murs is an English singer-songwriter, musician and TV presenter. Murs rose to fame after finishing as the runner-up in the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009. He is currently signed to Epic Records in the United Kingdom, Columbia Records in the United States, and Syco Music.

  • In late August 2010, Murs released his debut single "Please Don't Let Me Go", which debuted at number one on the United Kingdom Singles Charts. "Please Don't Let Me Go" received a Silver certification by the British Phonographic Industry.

  • In November 2010, Murs released his self-titled debut album "Olly Murs", which entered the United Kingdom Albums Chart at number two, with the biggest week one album sales for a debut album in 2010, with over 108,000 albums sold. The album went on to sell over 600,000 copies, and was certificated double platinum by the British Phonographic Industry.

  • The second single "Thinking of Me" charted at number four on the United Kingdom Singles Charts, the single also got a Silver certification by the British Phonographic Industry.

  • "Heart Skips a Beat" became second number-one hit. It went on to peak at number one in Germany and Switzerland, also reaching top ten in numerous countries in Europe.

  • Murs' first single "Dance with Me Tonight" from his second album "In Case You Didn't Know" became his third to reach number one.

  • In November 2011, Murs released his second album "In Case You Didn't Know". The album entered the charts at number one.

  • The first single "Troublemaker" from his third album "Right Place Right Time" was released on 18 November. It is Murs' fourth single to reach number one in the United Kingdom charts and his first single to spend more than a week at the top spot.

  • He released a special Digital Video Disc, entitled "Olly Murs: 7 Deadly Sins of Football" on 28 November 2011.

  • He was the face of European clothing store New Yorker in March 2012 for their men's spring/summer 2012 range.

  • He has also modelled for the autumn/winter 2012 range of Robbie Williams' clothing label Farrell.
