Career
He is one of the most respected pedal steel guitarists in Finland, and he has worked as a session musician for numerous Finnish artists. Haavisto has played in Vanha Isäntä, J. Karjalainen & Mustat Lasit, The Boys, Hoedown, Dallas Wayne & The Dimlights, Janne Haavisto & The Farangs, and Band"o. He has also played in the backing bands of Jim Pembroke, Mikko Kuustonen, Kari Tapio, Ninni Poijärvi, Jorma Kääriäinen and Topi Sorsakoski.
Their sister Susanna Haavisto is known both as a singer and an actress.
