O.K. Aderinokun falls in a third generation of lawyers in the famous family name. The first in the generation of lawyers, being the late M.L.B. Agusto, Queen's Counsel, born in Lagos, Nigeria in 1886, sworn in on February 26, 1924 and died in 1971. His son Bachelor of Arts Agusto, was born in Lagos, Nigeria in 1919, admitted into the Middle Temple in 1945, obtained Bachelor of Laws (Honours) University of London, enrolled in Nigeria in 1948 and died in 1989.
Both M.L.B. Agusto, Queen's Counsel and Bachelor of Arts Agusto, during their lifetime, each had long career in legal practice at the Nigerian Bar, during which time they jointly and severally maintained enviable records of honesty, sound advocacy and good leadership with vast experience in civil and criminal litigation, diverse aspects of corporate and commercial law and land matters generally.
The said experience and training has been passed down to Mistress O.K. Aderinokun, the daughter of Bachelor of Arts Agusto, who in maintaining the established practicing attribute and etiquette of the family and profession, can modestly be attributed with the above stated virtues.
